This light and warm wrap is woven primarily from Harrisville Shetland wool, highlighted with yarn I spun from a Bluefaced Leicester/Mohair blend hand dyed by Katrina Stewart of Crafty Jak’s. The handspun offers both colourful and textural interest, as the mohair felts differently from the rest of the fibers, leaving tiny loops of colour. This wrap doubles as a lap blanket or large scarf, and based on personal experience, I highly recommend it for ferry travel in the colder months!
